Located off of US 98 in Wakulla County, this cache is very near the
lower bridge across the Wakulla River.
Cache is a camo'd lock n' lock container containing a logbook and a
healthy selection of swag.
The lower bridge is one of two that cross the Wakulla River as it
travels from its headwaters at Wakulla Springs to the town of St.
Marks, where it meets the St. Marks River and continues into the
Gulf of Mexico.
The Wakulla River is beautiful and serene in this area, and is home
to many manatees during the cooler months.
Parking for this cache would be best along the dirt road on the
south side of the bridge which leads to the boat ramp. The cache is
easier to access by walking north under the bridge from boat
ramp,but to each his own.
///PLEASE NOTE/// Cache has been moved a short distance from the
original hiding spot to a new area Northeast of old spot and well
away from impending construction. Please use caution. Parking may
be limited on nice boating days. If you park on the side of US 98,
please be very careful of fast moving traffic.
If you go in the Spring or Summer, it would be best to take DEET
