Geocache Description:

This cache placed with permission of Resaca De La Palma State Park Staff.

Fairly easy cache requiring a level walk on paved trail then severl feet from the trail.Located a couple feet from the trail.

ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS!
DO NOT GRAB FOR THE CACHE BEFORE LOOKING CLOSELY FOR CRITTERS THAT MIGHT OBJECT TO YOUR PRESENCE.
An entrance fee is required. Gate hours are from 0800 to 1700 hours. Cache is accessible seven day per week.
NOT recommended for night caching!

The Honey Mesquite trees are a highly visable componant of the park. Named because honey bees love to harvest the pollen to make honey.
This is a thorny tree/shrub.
