This geocache is located at Edgerton Park in New Haven. It is in the far corner of the park from street parking, so some trails with elevation changes are required. The items in the cache are various coins from different places (Italy, Canada, Europe (Euro)) with little or no monetary value. Please bring an interesting coin to trade. A great cache for children with a budding coin collection!
This geocache is located at Edgerton Park in New Haven. Edgerton Park is a great park on the New Haven/Hamden town line. The park has several rare flower greenhouses, several nice paths and a wide variety of trees. The cache is in the far corner of the park from street parking, so hiking some trails with elevation changes are required. Parking can be found on Cliff St. at or around the following coordinates N 41.333096, W 72.915881.
The cache is a camouflaged tupperware container holding a logbook, two pencils, a pencil sharpener and a bag of various coins. The FTF prize is a US Dollar. Trade items should be other coins from across the globe with little to no monetary value. Please cover the cache with the natural camouflage surrounding the area where it was found.
Coordinates were found with an iPhone and afterwards corrected using google maps. This is our first time hiding a geocache. We hope you enjoy it! Good Luck!
