Geocache Description:

One of Ohio's many covered bridges. This one is Bigelow Bridge, also known as Axe Handle Road Bridge, that spans Little Darby Creek. This covered bridge was named in honor of Eliphas Bigelow who was a nearby resident. The bridge was built in 1873 by Reuben Partridge and spans 102’.

The cache container is not located near the base of the bridge. There is no reason to go underneath it unless you just want to look around. Once you zero in on the location, it's a very simple find. You're looking for a regular size Lock-N-Lock container. Use caution retrieving the cache. Terrain could be steep, muddy, and overgrown. Please post a picture of yourself at the bridge.

After deciding to place this cache, I found out that there is an Earthcache close by which will also bring you to this location as part of the requirement. If you have the time you should try that one too (GC19AWX). This cache also qualifies towards 5BizzyBs Under Cover Ohio Challenge (GC1KQ0J) found here.

Congrats to it's cached dude for the FTF!
