Forbidden Short Cut Traditional Cache

     I have been wanting to place a cache like this for a long time and as far as I know, this is the only one like it in Rawlins or the area for that matter. We have found caches like this in the past but I remember how hard it was for us to find the first one. If you have seen this type before, it should be easy. This is an access point where in the past, people have used this as a shortcut to get to a subdivision of Rawlins. The problem is, you have to drive through the parking area of a local motel and the owners do not appreciate it much. At one time, the owners blocked this off so nobody could travel through here but apparently they found out they could not do that so the barriers came down. It is best to turn onto Elm St. off of W. Spruce St. and it is a very short drive. Please pull off the street and do not block any alleys or roadways. You will be able to park so as to be out of the way and still have a very short walk. No room for a writing instrument or for trade items. Enjoy the hunt!
