This Cache is part of a series of caches put out by the North County Cachers (NCC) commemorating the 12 Days of Christmas. This will require a half mile walk and to figure out the puzzle. The difficulty of this cache could potentially be brought up to a 5 depending on precipitation.
This cache will require you to do some math to figure out the coordinates. It will also require for you to know something about the 12 days of Christmas.
The coordinates are:
N A° B.C W D° E.F
A = the Lords A Leaping were joined by the Partridge in a Pair Tree and the Drummers Drumming. The French Hens multiplying power helped to boost their numbers. The French Hens did not want to stick around so they left. Once the Turtle Doves showed up they split into teams.
How many did each team have?
B = When the party began there was only the Partridge in a Pair Tree and the Turtle Doves. As the night progressed they were joined by the French Hens and the Geese A-Laying which lead to many party fowls.
How many people were at the party?
C = There was a mix up at the factory and the number of Golden Rings was squared. This required a multiplicity of Calling Birds. At the destination they were joined by the Turtle Doves. This was not enough for the party so it the numbers were multiplied by the Ladies Dancing. They were still short so they called for another set of Golden Rings.
What is the total?
D = As the court was being built the Turtle Doves were multiplied by the Golden Rings and then by the Lords A-Leaping. Then the Calling Birds, Geese A-Laying and the Swans A-Swimming joined in for the game.
How many were on the court?
E = In an FTF attempt the Swans A-Swimming, Pipers Piping and French Hens met up at the suggested parking spot of N 33 13.136’ W 117 21.465’.
How many were attempting the FTF?
F = The Elves multiplied the Pipers Piping by the Lords A-Leaping and then were joined by the Drummers Drumming and the Partridge in a Pair Tree. They were then multiplied once again by the French Hens and one more time by the Turtle Doves.
What is the final count?
Good luck and Seasons Greetings.
