Once more we find two old men sitting on a stone, talking about their adventures and various places. Let's listen in:
- You know, Thorvald, this was just one of two bunkers they built to have a place to operate core functions of the Stockholm area. The Swedish Radio, the public phone carrier and many other functions. It's called "Elefanten" and the other one, south of Stockholm, was called "Vargen". The elephant and the wolf. Interesting choice of code words.
- Yes, Harry, I know. But I'm not sure I want to know. I am too depressed now.
- But Thorvald, forget about your old store. And the web site. Just move on, like these guys had to do. I read a document on the Internet that the whole thing is up for sale. But who can use a big cavern with two big buildings? And equipment preserved from the 70's. I mean, if you still had your shop, you could sell every piece in there.
- Yes, I was good, wasn't I? But that is behind me. It still makes me depressed though.
Thorvald brings out a thermos from his backpack. It is quickly followed by a small flask and two mugs. Harry shrugs. He's been trying for weeks to cheer up his old friend and buddy. Walking to different places in the "sausage line". Taking Thorvald to different beautiful or interesting view sites in Sollentuna. And what happens? His friend and old boss just gets more depressed, seeming not to care. All he talks about nowadays is the old store. And the web site. The damn web site that he can't make the decision to close down.
- Thorvald, what if we could use the web site for someting else, like these guys? In the front here, you have a beautiful old industry house, designed by a famous architect called Erskine. And behind, out of sight and view, is one of the most important bunkers from the cold war era. We could hide stuff like that? Using a different frontend, right?
- You're just bullshitting me like always, Harry. You can't come up with something like that even if you tried. I mean, do you really know what a web site is? How it works? And do you really understand the feelings of the people that built this? Houses built on springs just to protect them from the earth shaking during the big bomb blast? This is not a place to cheer people up, it's a place that just gets them more depressed. Like me. I don't like to remember these times. Not at all.
And he drinks the last drops of the flask, not realizing that he never opened the thermos, nor offered his friend anything. Standing up, he walks quickly away from the entrance and Harry has to work hard to keep his pace.
- But Thorvald, why did we decide to hide that stuff here? What about the hidden clue? Why did we put that sticker on the sign? What's going on?
- Not yet, Harry. Not yet. Let's go to Edsberg. They have a nice café there. And at this time of year, they propably have christmas buns too - Lussebullar. Of course not as good as my old missus used to make them, the ones we had in the shop when we...
- Stop it! Harry interrupts. Don't go down that path again. Let's climb up the mountain, past these huge antennas, find that café and talk about something else.
- Climbing? You're not making it easy for an old man, Harry. It's like when you wanted to show me that view from the Tank. It wasn't an easy walk either. Like when I walked that nice avenue in Paris,remember? Chance lajse or whatever the name was? That was a nice walk, indeed.
- Paris? You never told me about Paris. Tell me more!
And with that remark, we leave the two old gentlemen and wonder if they ever made it to the café. One thing they where right about though, Elefanten is the name of this bunker you're outside.It was extremely secret for a long time, but now it's not in use any more and the owners don't know what to do with it. From pictures on the net, everything seems very well preserved. Check for yourself, here are some pointers:

The cache is a regular cache, but also a bit irregular. It's the fourth cache with Thorvald and Harry. Of how they got involved in all this, we really have no clue.
