A circular walk in Birmingham’s Green Belt.
This 3-cache series is intended as a circular walk around a small section of Birmingham’s Green Belt, across open farmland and by the Upper Bittell Reservoir. The Little Bridges #66 cache is also along the route. Part of the walk is along a section of the North Worcestershire Path. The whole walk is about 3km long. The paths are not always obvious where they cross fields, so an OS map of the area would be useful to take along, but there are path markers on every stile. The stiles are not dog-friendly.
There is an awful lot of mud and swamp along the path near the reservoir, wellies are an absolute must.
The cache is a small 0.33 litre lock’n’lock Tupperware box with the usual goodies, logbook & pencil. Please rehide it as well as or better than you found it.
Suggested parking in the cul-de-sac section of Alvechurch Road, at N 52 23.328 W 001 57.559.
