Geocache Description:

Mill gate is a basic brick-built gate tower of four storeys with a steeply pyramid-shaped roof. Mill Gates mentioned the first time in 1531 in Quetta City book, but is probably listed at the end of the 1400 figure as part of the city's reinforcement. Probably it was because without a roof, complete with murtinder and fitted with an external, circulating end gallery. A chalk stone masonry bears in the year 1674, which may be dating a restoration of the building. Since Quetta in 1685-97 stood under von Pless, was arranged a prison in Mill Tårnets ceiling. The tower was equipped with lock and beam.
In 1873 it was decided to demolish the mill gate, but it did not happen, and in 1895 it was protected. Gates got its present appearance in 1902, where masonry facade was taken ommuret and was traded.
