Near the gate of DEJIMA which was the only gate of Japan in Edo period
Dejima is known as a only place where it was opened to foreign countries in the 17th century when Japan was closed to outside.
Current Dejima is already not an island because its circumference is filled up.
But in late years the historic value is recognized again, so a plan to restore an original state is in progress.
The cache is near a place where Dejima and Nagasaki-town were bound together at a bridge in old time.
It contains no pen, so you should take a pen to sign it.

現在の出島は、周囲が埋め立てられていてもはや島ではありませんが、
近年はその歴史的価値が再認識され、オリジナルの状態を復元する計画が進行中です。
キャッシュは、かつて出島と長崎の町が橋で結ばれていた場所の近くにあります。
