Geocache Description:


Cache is located at site of the old mining camp of Noland along the RR tracks of the Carson Colorado and later the Southern Pacific.The track currently belongs to the US Army.
Old time miners made ore shipments from this site while working the various mines in the Gillis Range.
Site was named for Charles F. Noland who was killed in a train wreck near Wabuska April 4, 1895. Noland was 22 years old. For some reason the "d" has been dropped off modern day maps.
Cache contains a Sacajawea coin for the FTF
