Two stage multi cache which involves a short drive up a nearby valley. There is about 1km of unsealed road to travel.
Park near the above coordinates. Watch children and be careful if you have to cross the road as it can be quite busy. Find the information boards and get the answers to the questions below as you learn a bit of the local history then travel on to the final cache site.The cache is disguised and is at ground level. All may not be what it seems. Cache coordinates: S41 18.ABC E173 01.DAE A = How many hundred acres was the Mildura estate? B = Moutere Inns' 'landmark' number. C = Number of ships on the Historic notice board. D = Number of blue dots on map. E = Year of newspaper clipping 191E. You can visit the recreation area by appointment, but as the sign says, it's 'members only'. The cache container contains a logbook, you will need to bring your own pencil.
