Geocache Description:

Special thanks to geogia2maine for hiding this cache, and for being kind enough to let me adopt it!

This cache commemorates the multi-billion dollar road and sidewalk project taken on by the town of Matthews and the NCDOT. The reason I placed this cache here is to make sure that this sidewalk actually gets used once in a while because quite honestly, no one will be using it. To top it off, in just a couple years, all the new road and sidewalk you see will all be redone when the road widening project is approved - what a waste! Anyway, park on Honey Creek and take a short walk to the cache. Watch out for the passing cars and the neighbors behind you, and be stealthy. This is an easy night cache! Organic coin for F2F. While you're at it, check out my other caches in the surrounding area. Happy searching!
