Rheinfeld ist kein wirklich altes Dorf verglichen mit dem
benachbarten Zons, aber einige Höfe gibt es schon recht lange. Der
Ursprung des Ortes geht auf den Rheinfelder Hof zurück. Dort wollen
wir beginnen.

Station 1 ist der Rheinfelder Hof bei den Startkoordinaten N 51°
6.241 E 6° 51.322.
Hier findet ihr eine kurze Liste wichtiger Ereignisse mit ihren

Wann wurde der Hof an das Antoniterkloster in Köln verkauft?
Diese Zahl ist A.
Station 2 findet ihr bei N 51° 6.(A-1078) E 6° 51.(A-707)
Hier seht ihr ein Objekt, das von einem kleinen Wassermann geziert
wird. Außerdem ist darauf eine 3-stellige Zahl zu sehen, diese ist
B.
Die 2-stellige Zahl etwas weiter unten ist C.
Ein kleiner Spaziergang von (B*2+54) Metern in Richtung (4*C)°
führt euch zu Station 3.
Hier solltet ihr ggf. euren Hund anleinen und dann in Ruhe die
Informationstafel lesen. Wie heißt die Altrheinschlinge, die ihr
jetzt betretet? Rechnet die Werte der Buchstaben zusammen (A=1,
B=2, etc.) und ihr erhaltet D. E ist die Anzahl der Buchstaben.
Geht jetzt zu Station 4 bei N 51° 6.00(E/2) E 6°
52.0(2*E+D).
Genießt die Aussicht und wenn ihr einen Abstecher zum Cache
Haus Piwipp machen wollt, dann solltet ihr hier
abzweigen.
Wann das Haus geöffnet hat, wird euch aber schon hier gesagt und
wir wollen wissen, ab wieviel Uhr am Samstag geöffnet ist? Diese
Zahl (die Stunden) ist F.
Station 5 findet ihr bei N 51° 6.(C*F) E 6° 51.((5*C-2)*F). Dort
könnt ihr euch auch über die Telefonnummer des Betreibers
informieren.
Die ersten 3 Ziffern der Telefonnummer sind G.
Die Koordinaten des Final sind N 51° 5.(G+E-1) E 6°
51.(G-B-92)
Mit diesen Koordinaten kommt ihr zum Final. Falls es sehr matschig
ist, empfehlen wir einen kleinen Umweg zu machen (siehe unten).
Matschiger Weg: Bei nassem Wetter kann es geschickt sein, einen
kleinen Umweg zu machen. Geht von Station 5 nicht auf direktem Weg
zum Final, sondern geht zuerst 80 m nach West-Nordwest. Biegt
dann links ab und folgt der Straße für 230 m. Biegt dann
wieder links auf einen Fußweg zwischen Garagen ab und nach
60 m nochmal links. Jetzt sollte der Cache in Richtung
Südosten angezeigt werden und ihr könnt wieder direkt darauf
zugehen.

Rheinfeld is not an old village compared to its neighbour the
Fortress Zons, but some of the homesteads are quite old. At one of
these is the starting point.

In case you brought your dog, you should leash it now and study the
information board in front of you.
What is the name of the Altrheinschlinge, you're going to enter?
Add the value of the letters (A=1, B=2, etc.) to get D. E is the
number of letters of the name.
And now head for waypoint 4 at N 51° 6.00(E/2) E 6°
52.0(2*E+D).
Enjoy the nice view and if you're going to do a side trip to the

Haus Piwipp, you should detour now.
Here (not there) you can find out, at what hour Haus Piwipp does
open on Saturdays. That will be F.
Waypoint 5 can be found at N 51° 6.(C*F) E 6° 51.((5*C-2)*F). There
you should note the phone number of the carrier.
The first 3 digits of the phone number are G.
The coordinates of the Final are N 51° 5.(G+E-1) E 6°

With these coordinates you should reach the Final soon. If the
direct path looks really muddy, we recommend a small detour (see
below).
Muddy Path: If the direct path in the direction of the Final
(from waypoint 5) looks muddy, we recommend a small detour. Follow
the street to West by Northwest for about 80 m. Turn left and
follow this street for about 230 m. Turn left again into a
foot path between lines of garages and after 60 m turn left
again. Now the Final should be indicated in the Southeast and you
can follow the path straight away.
