Bkipinkle Gnome Inn
is located on a rocky outcrop along Lucas Valley Road, not far from
the Skywalker Ranch.
The Inn Keeper, Bkipinkle, opened for business with a franchise
from his cousin
Pikbinkle, both of whom happen to be Gnomes.
Please be aware that the cache is within this residence which is
not suited for humans but they are very welcome to visit the
cache.
Bkipinkle offers up room service for weary travelers. There is
plenty of space for travelers of most travelbug sizes who need a
place to stay between adventures.
Like his cousin Pikbinkle, Bkipinkle is a distant cousin of a
notorious, not to be named
evil doctor, and due to all the bad
publicity caused by that unscrupulous character, Bkipinkle has
become quite publicity shy. Though Bkipinkle encourages visits
he avoids contact with strangers and politely asks that
no photographs or specific details depicting his humble
abode be published.
Generally, he will hear you coming and hide long before you
arrive, but, you are welcome to sign his guest register. If you
feel like your being watched… you probably are (Gnomes do not stray
far from home). Consider yourself lucky if you catch a glimpse of
Bkipinkle out of the corner of your eye.
The container is located inside the dwelling. Coordinates
determined from 8 satellites.
There is plenty of parking below the Inn. My recommended
approach is from the North vice the shorter, MUCH steeper, trail
from the NW. Due to the steep, rock strewn route, CAUTION is
advised (wet days or windy days require EXTRA CAUTION).
PLEASE make sure that the door
closes completely.
WARNING In January 2009 the
cache was muggled of all swag, log, and travelers. For this reason
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRAVELERS IN THIS CACHE.
