This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache and dash for visitors to King of Prussia

In the early 1950's King of Prussia was best known as the eastern terminus of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Near to transportation, the rural area added an industrial park, and the Reading Railroad built a spur to service the area. As manufacturing turned into offices, the rail line was abandoned by 1990. Even though the line no longer is connected to the Norfolk Southern, and has not seen a train in almost 20 years, most of the track is still in place. Instead of pulling out the rails and recycling the steel it remains, it is sometimes buried when a parking lot or building is placed in its path (Hence the "underground"). I did not mark this wheelchair accessable as the grab might be difficult, but you can certainly spot it from a wheelchair. If you can't grab it just email me a photo if you want to log it.
