Geocache Description:

FTF Goes To BMThiker

This cache is located on Starr Mountain near the location of a once famous hotel called The White Cliff Hotel. The final stage of the cache is located on the actual White Cliffs and is at an altitude of 2,050+ ft and does contain a small amount of scaling a rock bluff. ***Stay away from the edge of the cliff, because the cache is NOT on it. PLEASE be careful and use common sense.***

This cache begins with an impressive walk along the side of Starr Mountain with an incredible finish to your journey. The multi-stage cache is just a bonus compared to the view at the final stage. This 3-stage multi-cache is one in which the final stage is found by locating the 1st two stages. For the 1st stage, you are looking for a regular sized camo-covered tube. The tube contains the coordinates for the 2nd stage and the North coordinates for the final stage. Be sure to BYOP and write these down because we did not list them again at 2nd stage.

The 2nd stage is a small lock-n-lock container that blends in well with its surroundings. Once you find it, you’ll be given the West coordinates for the final stage. You will need to approach this stage with caution. ***Word to the wise, we DID NOT intend for you to get off the trail at any time on this stage so PLEASE don’t try to take any shortcuts. *** Once you get there, you are looking for a well hidden regular sized lock-n-lock container that contains several quality trade items. Remember, these lock-n-lock containers don’t have the same amount of space as ammo containers so please don’t cram it full of useless trinkets, only quality trade items.

Also, we would love to see a picture of you and the view with your gpsr at the cache.

Please re-hide all the containers at each stage during your hunt in as good or better shape than you found them as this can be a busy area at times. Also, this cache can be found at any time during the year, 24-7 so please dress accordingly.
