Geocache Description:

Leadsinger! There's a cache in Grantham Park!

I am doing my own version of the 12 Days of Caching. I am listing one cache each day for the next 12 days. Each cache is dedicated to one of my Geocaching friends and is placed close to where they live.

This one is dedicated to Leadsinger. Leadsinger works with computers, but also likes to sing. He sings the "lead" part in a Gospel Quartet and performs in churches throughout the Harrisburg area.

LS (as you'll see on his micro logs) has been caching for 5 years and is well known in the geocaching community for the many caches he's placed and the events that he has attended. If you ever want to meet Leadsinger in person, you may want to search for the "Spacious Acres Cache". LS will be watching you as you search.

LS is also one of the founding members of the GOTCHA group, which is an acronym for "Geocachers Of The Central Harrisburg Area", and is also active in the York County Geocaching Society.

LS has been known to cache with Squeakie and The Shire and we frequently attend geocaching events together. He has a unique gift of being able to win the drawings at geocaching events. I don't think I've been to an event with him where he has not won something.

LS is helpful to all his fellow cachers with recommendations for better use of existing technologies, geocaching equipment, geocaching articles, and you should ask him sometime about his geocoin collection... WOW!

Leadsinger is one of many local geocaching heros who has made a name for himself amongst the geocachers of Central PA. I celebrate this local geocaching hero.

Leadsinger... This one's for you!

You are looking for a small camo'ed tupperware container. It can hold small trade items but was not big enough for a pen so make sure that you bring your own.

Oh, and Leadsinger... don't forget to mark a waypoint back to your car.
