Cedar Lining Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hard Oiler: Stopped by today and confirmed that it has gone - or at least it wasn't where I had originally hidden it. Time to put it to rest.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in an old sand and gravel pit that is being restored as a wetlands and tall grass prairie habitat.

A local volunteer was largely responsible for many of the new tree plantings in this area and spent many hours here caring for the trees to give them a good start in life. A proponent of hand weeding rather than using herbicide, now, a few years later, you can start to see the fruits of his labour and this line of cedars is a fine example of his dedication.

The cache is a small camoed container with room for small trade items and is placed to be winter friendly. If you look under the lid you'll find a letter-number combination that you should take note of if you want to find a nearby puzzle cache.
