On the way to this cache look out for a square area made from discarded guard rail. The volunteer who tended to the new tree plantings in this rehabilitated gravel pit had a small vegetable garden here and had a variety of wild garlic growing, the leaves of which make an excellent addition to salads. The vegetable garden is no more and the wild garlic took over - come at the right time of the year and help yourself. But beware, it is quite invasive.
The cache is a small camoed container and is winter friendly - in fact it's easier to get to in winter than in summer although it's not too far off the main trail.
Look under the lid for the letter/number combination that will help you find the puzzle cache that is located not too far away.
