Sala sockenkyrka var tidigare Sala landsförsamlings kyrka. Gråstenskyrka från 1300-talet. Tegelvalv med kakelmålningar från 1460-talet signerade av Albertus Pictor. Altarskåp från omkring år 1500. Dopfunt i sandsten från 1200-talet. I kyrkans SV hörn finns en runsten från 100-talet inmurad. En fattigbössa finns vid södra portvalvet.

| Formerly Sala country parish church. The granite church dates from 14th century. The brick arches with tile painting from the 1460s are signed Albertus Pictor. The altar screen dates back to about 1500 while the sandstone baptismal font is from the 13th century. In the southwest corner of the church is a walled-in rune stone from the 2nd century. The collection box for the poor is placed at the southern gateway. |
