Geocache Description:

You used to have to drive to Los Angeles if you had 'the urge'.

I had this particular urge all the time so I was constantly driving down I-5 towards LA. For many years the nearest 'Urge' replenishment station was off the Lyons exit by Magic Mountain. Now you can find these stations all over the place. This is a good thing!

At this particular location I was customer number ONE!!! I had stopped by on my way to work in the morning to take some pictures and they saw me walking around outside. It was before 9am. They opened up the door and asked me what I wanted. I joked about how I was their first customer and they pulled me inside the store and introduced me to everyone in there: the worker bees and the corporate folks that are at each opening!

They fed me all kinds of donuts, orange juice, etc. I was stuffed. Then it was almost lunch time. So they told me I could order anything I wanted. Great, I was already stuffed from the donuts. But I sucked it up and ordered some more! HA!

I got free food and a shirt and a cool company coin. I'm bummed though because the receipt faded in time. I also had to make a cheesy video with their PR folks. Never saw it but I see that as a good thing!

Bring a writing stick so that you can sign the log. Be stealthy so that you don't give it's location away. Watch out for traffic if you have the kids and even if you're by yourself!
