G’day, I didn’t realise
that the Corroboree cache had made me so popular (not). It would
seem there are more cachers out there keen on exacting vengeance
than I initially anticipated. So due to safety concerns and
logistics the “A Corroboree” event is being relocated to Ironbark
Gully, S 27 23.473 E152 55.439 off Samford Rd Ferny Hills. Park at
S27 23.500 E152 55.400 Still bring your torch and if you have room
toss in a folding chair. There is a covered picnic area (so weather
won’t affect us) and some tables with seats and don’t forget to byo
refreshments I am also setting a little multi (seeing every one
seems to love my multi’s) and I will raffle the co-ords at $1 per
ticket (to raise funds for the GCA server). The winner will be
given the co-ords and a 15 minute start for a FTF. The K8’n’Co team
are looking forward to seeing you there. Sorry for the late notice
Dwan (K8’n’Co).
The wee folk have called Mr Co to task and ordered him to
make amends for his evil ways.
To appease the Geocaching Gods and the Gods of Geocaching
and to kick start the new Geocaching year, Mr Co is going to sizzle
some Sacrificial sausages at the Corroboree site on Friday
9th
January from around
6.30pm.
Mr Co will provide the Sacrificial sausages and
accompaniments, byo preferred refreshments.
To be eligible for the sacrificed sausages you must first
do or have done “Corroboree” (GC1HFDR) to find out why fellow
geocachers consider Mr Co so evil and nasty.
Best approach is the trail from S27 22.420 E152 57.743
along the Jinker Track. There is a parking area at S27 22.420 E152
57.629 , making it approx 400m walk. It should be a moonlit night
but a torch may come in handy.
NB: Sacrifices of goats, virgins and other things by
appointment only. Chanting and naked fire dancing an optional
extra.
