Geocache Description:

Easy park and grab cache. Muggle activity should be low, on most days. Cache is a small brown pill bottle that contains a log sheet and a couple of neck lanyards for trade

Having grown up near Fort Scott and knowing about the world- wide recognition of Gordon Parks, I could not let this man's life pass away into history without giving people an opportunity to visit his final resting place. The cache is located only a few steps away from Mr. Parks grave Please visiit these coordinates: N37 47.828, W094 43.008. Having experienced the filming of "The Learning Tree" and hearing about the LIfe magazine photography this man shared with the world is my inspiration to let others have the opportunity to research and understand the important life of this Fort Scott original.
