This Cache, hidden December 25, 2008, is what we
like to consider a "Pay it Forward" Cache in recognition of all of
those that have hidden caches in southern Nevada and make our trip
to the area that much more enjoyable, especially our friends at the
Nevada Geocaching Association. You see, Princess and I are regular
visitors here (we call Chicago home), and we look forward to our
annual trips here… well to Geocache of course!! We love this
area and appreciate all of you that hide caches so much; we decided
to leave all of you a little Christmas present from the two of us
in the form of a “Pay it Forward”
cache.
This cache is stocked with
some of my favorite things… Batman theme swag! We even left
a couple of BAT-Nanos (check under the lid) for your hiding
pleasure. We hope you enjoy this cache as much as we enjoy finding
caches here and especially at this location.
The Pay It Forward
concept:
You find this cache and in
return place a "pay it forward" cache of your own --easy huh? When
somebody finds your cache they do the same, and so on and so on.
Maybe you can bring a stocked cache container with you and place it
on your way home, or maybe you already know of a good location,
either way this series has the potential to grow very fast. Once
you place your cache simply name it "Pay it Forward" with your team
name attached, example ---Pay it Forward/Team Joe Smoe. ----I would
love to see this series reach the far corners of the earth while
giving back to the Geocaching community at the same time. Feel free
to cut and paste this description if you decide to participate by
placing your own PIF cache. You DO NOT have to place a cache if you
don't want to, but it would be appreciated and hiding one PIF cache
per team will be enough to make this happen.
