Geocache Description:

Ahoy Maties! Come join all of us for the first ever BSA Florida Sea Base CITO event! (3PM 15Jan2009) We will be doing a clean up sweep of a couple of locations, possibly including Anne's Beach.

Stick your toe (not your head) in the sand as we clean the local area grounds. We have been teaching a lot of youth leaders how to share geocaching with the kids (and their families) and want to teach them how to give back to the community as well. Come join us in our first ever Sea Base CITO!

We will meet at the entrance to the Florida Seabase at Mile Marker 73.8 on the Lower Matecumbe Key at 3:00 PM on January 15, 2009. We will determine what our project teams look like and head off to our clean up sites. Anne's Beach is just across the highway from the Seabase.

Bring gloves, proper clothing for the weather, some sort of foot protection, sun protection, water bottle and of course your GPS. You may want to pick up some of the local caches. Seabase will provide the trash bags and water.

All geocachers are welcome. We hope to see you there.
