While visiting IE island I found a great public beach where I saw two Shetland Pony's grazing on the grass and there were areas for ground golf, sand volleyball, grill areas and a small 'restaurant'...cost was 100Y for 'insurance' and kids was cheaper. You can walk in the area from the YYY resort beach side for free...I rented a scooter for around 2000Y and checked out a little more of the island than we had time for in the past on foot.
You could walk here and hit the other caches if you took the first ferry out and maybe you would have to take the last one back and still have a bit of time to enjoy the island.
Left a few goodies in the container for the kiddos and a trackable; sorry I forgot the FTF prizes at the house...
