Come out to Sylvan Prairie Park and get the winter stink blowed off.
This is a great opportunity to bait the quarry, quarry buzzards, that is. International flying regulations prohibit the harming of hamsters, weasels, stoats or buzzards, although some weasels and a number of old buzzards are expected to attend. Due to the family nature of this event, all electrical experimentation is prohibited but it is okay to get high. Go figure.
You are responsible for supplying all of your own supplies, including kites. To avoid neck strain, lawn chairs are recommended. A great place for a picnic if the winds last.
An array of area notables, possibly even TAJ, are expected to attend. Sociable dogs are welcome.
Please reserve your spot as soon as possible in order to obtain a low number.
A pre-event breakfast will take place at N41 39.609 - W83 40.067 (SW corner) at 08:00. Recitations by poets will be welcome at that time. At 09:00 the corporate sponsors will check atmospherics at the park. Kites aloft at 10:00.
Don't like Kites? (Egad!) Don't like poetry? (Can't say that I blame you.) There are 20 geocaches within hiking range.
