A Traditional Cache on the Sustrans Cycle track: National Route 4 at Calne, in honor of Skipper the newest member of The Calne Magpies. Buggy friendly if you don’t mind the wheels getting a bit muddy. There can be a high level of muggles here so stealth may be required.
This part of the cycle route takes you out of Calne towards Compton Bassett, Cherhill and onto Avebury. It is a well used cycle path and dog walk and is loved by the Wee Magpies when walking Skipper our black Labrador as they all enjoy splashing in the puddles that can gather.
The route is also access for two farms so if planning a cache and dash please be aware you may meet other traffic or tractors and there are few places to pull in or turn. You are looking for a small plastic click-lock box big enough for Geocoins and small TB’s containing logbook, pencil, the usual swag and a FTF pin badge.
Please rehide so it can not be seen, thanks.
