Unfortunately this cache has gone missing (presumed muggled) and the area in which the cache was located is no longer suitable for cache. It is therefore wityh regret that I archive this one. :-(

Geocache Description:

Smal traditional cache hidden in a quiet corner of Highwoods
Country Park

Lying to the north of Colchester, Highwoods Country Park is an area of over 300 aches of woodland, grassland and wetland areas. Once a royal hunting ground, it is now a managed country park providing a pleasant space to enjoy nature, walking the dog, fishing for carp in the lake, or allowing the kids to run off steam. For those wanting to get more involved, a series of events and conservation tasks are run throughout the year (a few years ago I planted a few trees on a wet Sunday afternoon and have delighted in watching them grow ever since). A Sunday afternoon picnic overlooking the lake is recommended (especially in the summer sunshine), as is walking over the hills in the southern section to gain view of Colchester town.

This cache is found in a quiet corner of the park usually missed on a casual visit. A good spot to see rabbits and other wildlife if you're quiet.
