A micro (as the name suggests!!) in a small park in Clifton. It is a bit of a hill to get to it, if you are coming from Hotwells. Not a film canister - narrower but a little longer. Certainly no room for swaps, and no pencil either, so bring your own!
So why is it called Gemmas Magic Micro? Well, I discovered this little park afer a magic sports massage from the caches namesake, Gemma (she has magic in her fingers!). She lived near by and I got a little lost trying to find my way back to the main road (I didn't take my GPS!) The sun was setting and I saw the path to the park, and decided to check it out. I was rewarded with a fantastic view of the lower end of Bristol Docks, bathed in the setting sunlight. It was simply magnificent and cried out for a cache so all my caching colleagues could come here too.
Given it is very urban and houses overlook the park, stealth is essential. If you want to bring Geo-kiddies, there is a small play area with a climbing frame. The Lion Pub nearby looks very nice too - if you happen to check it out, put a note in your log!
