Guestling Wood is a 110 acre ancient semi-natural woodland owned by the Woodland Trust. The Trust acquired the wood in three stages. They bought the northern half of the wood in two instalments in the 1980s, while the southern half was acquired in 2006, after a successful fundraising campaign supported by local people.
The Trust will continue to manage the majority of the wood by coppicing, a traditional form of management that has been practiced for centuries in woods like Guestling. This involves cutting the trees down to ground level, allowing many new stems to re-grow from the stump or stool. The coppice will be felled when it is 15 to 25 years.
You are looking for a magnetic film canister. Don’t forget to make a note of the number for the bonus cache!
