The cache is a one-litre bottle hanging in a tree. There is a moderately difficult hike in to the cache location.
After placing a nearby cache that is nearly a park and grab, we decided to make one just a little more difficult.
To begin your quest, take Spencer Avenue off Highway 41 and then turn right on Caplan Court. This is a great parking location as well as the trailhead.
The first two thirds of this hike will take you along a snowmobile trail. If its in the winter and you have a sled, it will be an easy ride up a hill. The walk is moderately strenuous as the hill is a pretty good one.
The final 100 m will be bushwhacking straight into the forest. In the winter you will deal with snow. In the summer, raspberry bushes and biting insects will be plentiful.
Finally, you will have to do some climbing to retrieve the cache.
A toonie is there for the FTF.
