Whatcha Fishin' For? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

philcro: The time has come for ""Whatcha Fishin' For", "Bottom of the 9th", and "Xmas Cache 2008" to be archived. I placed the caches to take advantage of what I think is an awesome little greenbelt that most folks who live outside my neighborhood probably don't know about. The 3 caches awarded a total of 99 Premium-Member-Only smileys; however, none have been found since March. I went back and read all the logs and saw that these caches were definitely enjoyed by those who found them. I'll use the ammo cans for 3 new caches as soon as I figure out places to hide them. Premium members get ready...

Geocache Description:

I enjoyed hiding Christmas Cache 2008 so much that I decided to hide a couple more in this beautiful area. This cache is on the opposite side of Bintliff but parking is available at N 30 25.321 and W 097 47.421. The terrain is tough mostly because of some elevation changes; however, there is very minor bushwacking in the form of underbrush, etc. The cache is on an on-again/off-again trail that begins near the street at N 30 25.292 and W 097 47.445. If you find yourself doing a lot of bushwacking through thick vegetation, you should change your approach because that should be unnecessary.

The container is an ammo can stocked with some old fishing lures (minus the hooks) and some soft plastics baits as well. Feel free to take what you wish but please trade only items related to fish and fishing.

Congratulations to SoaringEagle and staciecro for FTF!!
