TC Winter Convergence VIII Event Cache

It's time once again for the eighth annual TC Winter Convergence, the longest running annual geocaching event in the world! The TC Winter Convergence is the only geocaching event with the same host for eight years running, no other may lay claim to this milestone of geocaching history.... no one!

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the great Northern Michigan winter outdoors. It's a chance to swap geocaching stories, eat some great food, and do some geocaching in the snow!

Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Date: Saturday, January 31, 2009
Place: South of Traverse City at the Nature Center Pavilion on Cass Rd.
Lunch: 1:00 PM
Cost: FREE! - But donations would be appreciated to help defray costs.
Door Prize Drawing: 3:00 PM

The "Dead Animal Hat Club" will be in attendance so if you have a dead animal hat... wear it! Creativity welcome!

The coordinates above are for the pavilion at the GT Conservation District Nature Center. We will be grilling hot dogs and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to pass. Paper plates, napkins, etc. will be provided.

The door prize drawing will be held promptly at 3:00 PM, you must be present to win. Donations for the prize table are welcome!.
