Geocache Description:

Bonne chance !

English

One of the many shelters of the Valley of Planchetorte, important site of the paleolithic superior (from -35000 to -10000 years before our era), which was used, probably, as seasonal campings by the population of passage which followed the transhumance of the deer.

This cave, excavated in 1866, has the characteristic to have delivered fragments of bone (it explains its name) with some engravings, preserved in an argillaceous ground, which is not the case of the closer shelters, whose acidity of the sediments did not allow the organic matter conservation.

Taking into account the topology of the place, the coordinates can be slightly vague.

No pen in the box. Take one with you !

Good luck !
