Geocache Description:

Spaziergängercache von ungefähr 2,5 km plus Rückweg oder Anschlusscache "Hohehorst". Vom dortigen Final auf direktem Weg zum Parkplatz ergibt eine Gesamtrunde von ca. 7,5 km.
Walk of about 2,5 km plus way back or follow up cache "Hohehorst". From that final the way of the complete round is about 7.5 km in lenght

Start - 4 Stages - Final

Auf einer alten Wanderkarte haben wir etwas gefunden, was auf den aktuellen Karten nicht mehr verzeichnet ist.
We found something on an old map of walks which cannot be found any longer on the newer maps.

Der Weg ist auch für Radfahrer geeignet, allerdings ist es bei feuchtem Wetter teilweise etwas matschig. Bedenkt dann den Hinweis zum WP3.
The way is suitable for bicycles, too. It is partially a little bit under bad condition if the weather is wet. Then consider the hint for WP3.

Festes Schuhwerk und mathematische Grundkenntnisse erforderlich!
Good shoes and mathematical basic knowledge are required.

Es ist keine besondere Ausrüstung notwendig und es muss kein Privatgrund betreten werden.

Vom Parkplatz bei N53 12.295 E8 39.535 folge der Straße nordwärts zum WP1 (N53 12.506 E8 39.776). - Follow the way northward from the parking area (N53 12.295 E8 39.535 ) to WP1 (N53 12.506 E8 39.776)
Leider wurde der ursprüngliche Wegpunkt abgebaut :-( Ersatzaufgabe: Je zwei Leitplankenabschnitte sind mit X Nieten/Schrauben miteinander verbunden. - Unfortunatly the original waypoint was removed :-( New task: How many srcews/rivets are used to join two parts of the crash barrier. This shall be X.
Zum WP2 folge der Straße Richtung NO für (20 * X + 35) m bis zu einem Wegweiser. - Follow the street in the direction NE for (20 * X + 35) m. There you will see a guidepost.
Addiere die Entfernung zu den einzelnen Ortschaften zu Y. - Add the distance to all single places. The sum is equal to Y.
WP3 ist bei N53 12.[775 + Y * 10] E8 40.[439 - Y * 10] zu finden. - Find WP3 at N53 12.[775 + Y * 10] E8 40.[439 - Y * 10].
Der Rest ergibt sich vor Ort. - You will find all other information on the stages.

Nachtrag November 2009:
Hier ist im Sommer kräftig im Wald gearbeitet worden und einige neue Schonungen und Hochsitze sind entstanden. Bitte helft Konflikte mit Jägern und Förstern zu vermeiden: Achtet auf Jagdzeiten und geht den Cache nicht Nachts und in der Dämmerung an.
