A multi cache around Peartree Church
This cache is set around the lovely church overlooking Peartree Green, an area very close to my heart as my dad is laid to rest in the churchyard. He was a very keen dartsman , and at the time of his death was team captain at the pub you can see from the church , and so this seemed an appropriate final resting place for him ..... he also spent many happy hours on the green and surrounding area walking our totally loveable but unruly dog , toby.....or was it toby who walked dad .......the times that mad dog got scent of a bitch and off he ran , totally ignoring poor dad !!
I hope you enjoy this cache , which should take less than an hour , and enjoy the area as much as my dad and toby did .
The container is a small tupperware box, big enough to hold a log book , pencil , geocoins and small travel bugs. When originally placed it contained old coin travel bug.
The initial co-ordinates are for the parking place , not the actual cache.

here, so the story goes , are the remains of 17year old Richard Parker , a young lad eaten at sea, a very interesting tale if you have the time to search it
and if you turn to face south east from this spot , the old converted buildings which are now private homes , used to be the annexe to the secondary school i attended as a teenager , and where we used to trundle off to once a week for our 'craft ' lessons , such as art , needlework and pottery ....a memory of 'my' peartree !!
