I've only had one dog in my life and Muffin was a good one. She came from the vet where my Mom was working instead of going to the animal shelter. She lived a good long time and provided many happy moments for me and my three brothers/sisters. From the parking, follow the wide mowed trail to the FORC trailhead posted for this cache. Then just follow the trail until you are about 50 feet from the cache! Recollections from my sister: I remember Muffin had a real love for dirty underwear. There was the time that Muffin took the meat off the table and my sister and I were sent to bed early because we were supposed to be watching the table. I (the good sister) was helping make a salad while someone else who shall remain nameless was off playing when she shouldn't have been. I will love telling my nieces that story! I was there when Muffin died. My parents had moved from our childhood home. We had just arrived for a visit. The dog was so excited to see us she was running all over the place. Muffin ran out to the pool area and ran around the pool twice before collapsing on the grass. Daddy scooped Muffin up and ran to the car as Mama looked for the emergency vet in the phone book since they hadn't lived there very long. Mama found an address and off Daddy went. He was back in a very short time. Muffin drew her last breath before he had arrived at the vet. The decision was made just to return home where we had a little funeral and buried Muffin in the back yard.
