Geocache Description:

We all have hills to climb from time to time; some are unavoidable and emotionally very tough to deal with. This hill however, is entirely avoidable, but if undertaken, will only be challenging in a physical way and will hopefully be fun. It may even work to reduce some of that stress the real hills of life create.

I parked on the Lusk Creek PRA access road at WP001 and hiked up the very steep but mostly open ridge line toward the cache location. The distance to the cache is only about 1 km but the elevation gain is 280 metres – I did say it was steep didn’t I. The cache is a smallish LnL placed inside a custom wooden protective enclosure, permanently affixed to something and should be winter friendly. It contained a few trading items plus a FTF card and six bucks for the FTF, a geocaching pin and finders card for the STF as well as finder's cards for the next 9 hill climbers.

The views are great from up here – have fun and enjoy this hill. You may want to double your pleasure by capturing the nearby brass cap on the way down.

Update: Oct/09 - I have discovered that this hill has a name. It is called Horton Hill!
