Nice little centrally located park
in Wellington City.
This park is part of the Wellington town belt set aside in 1840,
and is a very pretty and relaxing spot but gets very few visitors.
As per the information at the entrance it is currently undergoing a
$1.2 million upgrade, but as far as I can tell it is yet to
start!
Note also the sign advising of poison baits laid in the park so
keep a close eye on the little ones. I have checked the area around
GZ thoroughly but sadly, like all public parks, there is always the
possibility of broken glass and other hazards. Dogs are permitted
if on a leash.
Cache is located within 5 metres of the edge of a well formed track
and there is an easy little scramble up to it, location is fairly
obvious. Enjoy your visit!
