Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches needed to find Scooby Doo, Where Are You!
Look inside the log book or on the inside of the lid for a written clue!

Danger-prone Daphne always has to coax Scooby Doo to enter a spooky area with his favorite treat- a Scooby Snack. Even during the day, this area kinda has a spooky, jungle-like vibe. Parking is close by.

This cache used to be located along the paved path just north of the Girl Scouts of America Program Center for 7 years until the City of Escondido installed an "Area Closed" sign on the chain at the beginning of the path, so I had to relocate it to a similar, nearby area.

The cache is located in Kit Carson Park, which is open from dawn to dusk except for lighted sports activities. If you bring a flashlight, I wonder if geocaching counts as a sport?

Cache replaced 9/03/09, upgraded 8/02/10, replaced again 8/26/15, relocated 1/25/16, and replaced and relocated again 10/7/17.
