This town, which was proclaimed in 1916, had a post office, a
primary school, railway gangers' barracks, netball, tennis, cricket
and football teams.
The coordinates will take you to a sign on which there is a map
showing the former layout of the township that was located here.
Study the map and identify the location of the former school. Drive
to this point and check out the historical marker at this next
spot. Take care as the track is quite sandy. The plaque on the
front of the stone gives the official information about the school.
At the back of the rock in the actual concrete of the pedestal,
someone has scrawled a date. Use these numbers to find the final
location as explained below.
Final Location is at S 35 03. ABC E 140 41.DEF
The date scratched into the concrete pedestal is represented as:
GH-J-KLMN
A = N plus H
B = N
C = J minus H
D = L minus G
E = M
F = N
