Geocache Description:

When geocaching around SLO, one often notices civic projects, including the amphitheater at Mission Plaza and the band gazebo at Mitchell Park, sponsored and built by the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo. In 1994 the Rotary built and donated this picnic pavilion to the city of San Luis Obispo. Several years later, Rotarians added the BBQ pits, prep tables, electricity, and water. Although the years and the weather have taken their toll on this facility, it remains a pleasant place for family reunions and other groups to gather and have a major BBQ. The cache container is a camoed small medicine bottle with room for only a log. Please take the time to snug this cache back in tightly.
