On the Cromwell to Bannockburn walking track. Great track for the whole family.
This cache is located on part of the Dunstan Lakeside track, which is from Lowburn all the way around to Ripponvale. It is a great track for Mountain biking or walking. A bit sandy in places.
The easiest way to locate the cache is to park at the track end car park opposite Peasons Road S45 04.565, E169 10.240 then walk back towards Cromwell. You can then make this into a circuit by carrying on past the oxidation ponds then up on to Richards Beach Road, then follow Bannockburn Road back to the carpark.
