Questa è la seconda versione
dell'
omonimo cache che è andato perduto. Poichè si trovava in una
posizione a rischio a causa di alcuni lavori in zona e dei
giardinieri che curano la passeggiata, abbiamo deciso di spostarlo
e trasformarlo in un multi-cache.
Melide è una piccola ma splendida cittadina posizionata sulle rive
del Lago di Lugano, in territorio svizzero, nel canton
Ticino.
Come recita il
sito
ufficiale del comune, Melide ha origini antiche, sicuramente
longobarde (852), anche se qualcuno pensa che il nome abbia a che
vedere con le milizie romane. Per anni sotto la proprietà delle
famiglie di Como, la sua importanza cambiò con la nascita del
Canton Ticino (1803) e, soprattutto, con la costruzione del
ponte-diga (1847) sul quale ora ci sono sia l'autostrada, sia la
strada cantonale che la ferrovia.
Il cache è nascosto lungo la splendida passeggiata che collega
Melide con la cittadina di Bissone, situato dall'altra parte del
lago, al termine del ponte-diga. Il cache si trova nella prima
parte della passeggiata, ma vi consigliamo fermamente di completare
la passeggiata sino a Bissone (ci sono altri cache lungo il
percorso) e godere dello splendido paesaggio che si ha durante
l'intera camminata soprattutto nelle giornate pulite autunnali e
primaverili.
Le coordinate del listing vi portano ad una piccola fontanella che
riporta gli anni di realizzazione della "Passeggiata a Lago" nella
forma ABCD-EF. Ignorate AB e le coordinate finali le
troverete con questo semplicissimo calcolo:
N 45° 57.100 + (EF - 10)
E 8° 56.800 + (CD - 5)
Il cache è un contenitore di plastica
ricoperto di nastro adesivo nero, avvolto in un piccolo sacchettino
di plastica per maggior protezione. E' facilmente accessibile, ma
data la sua posizione, è difficile prenderlo senza gli sguardi dei
passanti e per questo abbiamo alzato a 2 il livello di difficoltà.
fate molta attenzione anche a rimetterlo come lo avete
trovato.

This is the second version of the
same name cache that has gone lost. Since it was located in a
risky place due to some maintenance work and because of the
gardeners that taka care of the walk, we decide to move it and make
it a multi cache.
Melide is a small but beautiful village on the river of the Lugano
lake, in Swiss territory, part of the Tessin canton.
As reported by the
official municipality website, Melide has old
origins, definitely from the half of the 800, although some people
think that the name "Melide" has to do with the roman army
("Militie"). For years it has been controlled by the Como families,
the importance of Melide drastically change with the birth of the
Tessin canton (1803) and with the construction of the bridge-dam
(1847) where has been set both the main highway and freeway and the
main railway.
The cache has been hidden along the wonderful walk that connect
the village of Melide with the village of Bissone, located on the
other side of the lake, at the end of the bridge-dam. The cache is
located in the very first part of the walk, but we strongly suggest
you to go all the way to Bissone (there are other cache along the
path) and enjoy the wonderful view you can have by walking there,
especially on clear day in spring and autumn.
The coordinates of the listing will take you in front of a small
fountain that reports the building years year of the "Passeggiata a
Lago" in the form of ABCD-EF. Please ignore AB and
the final coordinates can be found with this easy
calculation:

The cache is a plastic box wrapped
around with black tape, inserted into a plastic bag to protect it
from the rain. It can be accessible very easily but considering its
position it is hard to grab it without being noticed. For this
reason difficult level has been raised to 2: please be very careful
even to put it back as you originally find it.
As a sign of respect to all
geocachers worldwide, we please you to write your logs also in
english, to allow everyone to be able to understand what you write.
This is extremely important if you need to communicate woth
