Geocache Description:

THIS IS NOT A TRAIL. Some bushwhacking might be necessay. The path that leads UP to the cache is on the South side of the Visitors Center, behind the big rocks and trees. This is where the old Grafton Stone Quarry was located. The above co-ordinates are for parking at the Visitor Center.

Once you have parked, there are some bathrooms and picnic tables at this location. Feel free to go into the Visitor Center and find out about all the area activities.
Half way up the trail the path splits. The left trail goes down into the old quarry. You need to take the RIGHT fork to get to the cache.
The view from here is well worth the short steep hike.
You will be looking to your right at the junction of the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. Looking left you can see the Palasades. Across the river is Missouri.

Small children should be kept close by here due to the drop offs !!
