Geocache Description:

Park at the coordinates below (end of 240th St.) and take the trail straight back. Take a left at the intersection (which is down a good ways) and stick to the trail (you’ll be glad you did) as the cache (PB Jar) is right off it. Pretty long hike out to this spot, but the stroll should be pretty pleasant most times of the year. You’ll notice a lot of new growth in this area. Some serious wind went through here a couple years back and took out a swath of large trees. Lots of new shoots coming up – will be interested to return in the summer.

The Cylon Marsh Wildlife Area is over 2500 acres of woodlands, prairie, and wetlands. Nice property to view a variety of wildlife, birds, and waterfowl. Nice place for a hike – bring the snowshoe’s in the winter. Hunting is allowed here in season, so attire yourself appropriately during those seasons. Enjoy!
