White Castle
White Castle is one of Wales' hidden treasures and one of the country's lesser-known castles.
This is my first hidden cache, prepared and the site chosen (under supervision) by my 5 year old son, Syd. This is a special place for us as we discovered the Castle a year ago whilst trying to stay out of the way due to imminent baby number 3.
The Cache is placed directly on a public footpath along the Three Castles Walk, about 100 yards from White Castle itself. The cache contains a simple swap plus Syd's geocoin which we want to travel as far and wide as possible.
This is an easy cache, why not have a look whilst following the more elaborate 3 Castles Multi-cache.
White Castle is open 10am - 5pm and is free apart from the period Easter to October when they do charge.
Great Castle though and usually deserted - climb the tower for a superb view of the Skirrid.
