Geocache Description:

Welcome to a series of caches dedicated to the Fire Service. These caches are placed on, around, or by something related to the Fire Service. We hope you enjoy our caches as much as we enjoyed placing them. You are looking for a painted magnetic NANO. Please let us know in your logs what you think.

P.E.A.T.'s stands for Physical Endurance and Agility Test. All firefighters must past this test annually. The hiring process also includes three sections consisting of an oral interview, P.E.A.T.'s Test, and Written Exam. The P.E.A.T.'s Test takes place here at the Municipal Auditorium and includes drills including hose drags, ladder climbs, and other physical indurance tests. The annual hose test also takes place on this particular hydrant where all sections of hose at the department are pressure tested.
